Nyhed: Intel x Cooler Master: MasterLiquid ML360 Sub-Zero

Cooler Master har for nylig annonceret MasterLiquid ML360 Sub-Zero AIO med Intel Cryo Cooling Technology. Denne AIO har den samme Intel Thermoelectric Cooler (TEC), der findes i EK QuantumX Delta-vandblokken. ML360 Sub-Zero har en 52,52 mm TEC-enhed og Intel-software, der muliggør maksimal afkøling. Den har en 360 mm radiator udstyret med tre SF120R-blæsere og en andengenerationspumpe. Enheden er kun kompatibel med 10. og 11. generations Intel-processorer på grund af den dybe softwareintegration.

TECen alene æder 200 watt/time. (TOTAL POWER CONSUMPTION 200 W) 

Det er så 4.8 kw/t pr døgn * 365 døgn = 1752 kw/h Så den kommer til at koste 3-4000 kr årligt i 24 timers drift....

Bare husk, at hvis CPU'en udvikler mere end 200w energi som skal køles, får man ikke ret gode temps.

TECen kan kun overføre 200 watt. Derefter vælter CPU temperaturen i vejret, som i "det skal man ikke gøre".

TEC er ikke andet end en gimmick til  CPU køling. 1 år strømforbrug kan vel egentlig betale en kompressor køling.
